About the Lea(R)n Fellowship
The Lea(R)n Fellowship is designed to provide active K12 educators the opportunity to engage their fellow educators, thought leaders, and innovators to improve education technology decisions for themselves and schools and districts across the country. Lea(R)n Fellows are experienced educators who believe pedagogy, practice, and outcomes should have more impact on decision-making regarding which education technologies are best for our students and classrooms.
The fellowship will run from June 14th until August 15th with a 20 hour/week time commitment. The majority of work can be completed remotely but fellows should expect to spend at least one day/week in our HQ Raleigh office to collaborate with the team. Lea(R)n Fellows receive a stipend and benefit from flexible schedules, self-directed and collaborative opportunities with our passionate team. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by June 5th.
We are seeking two rock-star educators to join our dedicated team of educators, technologists, and researchers for the summer:
Educator Success Fellow – in collaboration with our Educator Success Team, the Educator Success Fellow will support implementation efforts with our customers through platform setup and configuration, product library curation and more. Fellows will frequently engage with instructional technologists, edtech leads and teachers through online chats, webinars, PD sessions, and direct hands-on interaction to support the successful implementation of and training on LearnPlatform to improve education technology decisions in schools and classrooms across the country. The fellow will also advance leadership and critical edtech evaluation skills, learning and applying the Lea(R)n grading rubric, collaborating on and dissecting IMPACT analyses and working with LearnLeaders across the country on unique district challenges and solutions.
Technology Implementation Fellow – in collaboration with Product Management and Lea(R)n’s collaborative partners, the Technology Implementation Fellow will support key educator and stakeholder engagement. This fellow will use focus groups, surveys, outreach and data analysis, user testing and feature design feedback to coordinate with users to understand the practical application of features, alignment and relevance of LearnPlatform to improve education technology decisions in professional learning communities and their school systems.
"My experience last summer with Lea(R)n was phenomenal. The freedom to explore the entire platform, evaluate behind the scenes and help implement new and exciting additions highlighted my eight weeks as a team member. " - Cori Odom, IMT Teacher at Davis Drive Elementary School in Cary, NC.
